Duel in the Desert Wakeboard Competition

Mallory has found her new LOVE -- Wakeboarding.
She competed in her first competition over the weekend at Last Chance.  She has been practicing for the last couple of weeks all her tricks.  She has learned how to bunny hop (bounce), touch the water (she will take the water from her hand and run it through her hair), and she can even do a 180 slide (switch foot).  At the end of her routine she lets go of the rope and as she is sinking into the water she makes a "heart" sign with her hands.  It is sooooo funny.  She is such a natural -- she is so stable out there and absolutely loves it.  She was so excited to compete and said, "I don't care what happens, I just want to get on the podium."

Troy is a pro at this competition stuff now -- this is the third year he has competed.  This year, he is in a new division -- competing with all ages in the beginner category.  He got some huge air!!!

Mallory took 4th place in the Grom Division (ages 9 and under)
Troy took 2nd place in the Beginner Division

So cute that Mallory did such a good job and all she really cared about was standing on the Podium. Congratulations to Troy...2nd place...that is great! Can't wait for next year and see how they just keep improving.
