Yahooo! I am finally back blogging:)
Life is starting to be normal again.... I can't find the time to blog between running the kids everywhere and going to physical therapy three days a week. Rehab is fantastic-my neck is feeling stronger every day. I almost have full range of motion side to side. I even started running again. I can't even explain how good it feels to run...better than ever. I am just amazed at the human body and the way it heals and recovers after such a traumatic injury.
So, here we go with Christmas!
Christmas was extra special this year. It was hard to get into the "christmas spirit" I usually feel which is more of the "worldly" spirit. I wasn't able to go to all the fun festive Christmas parties, Breakfast with Santa, Christmas shopping at the malls, and on and on. Instead, this year we really focused on our little family and the blessings that have been poured out to us in our lives. I have to say, it was very enjoyable... very simple.
Christmas eve: new jammies

Putting out cookies for Santa

Christmas morning:

The smile says it all..... Troy got his first b-b gun
Mallory was exctied to see her hair-style doll

Cocoa's first Christmas

Troy got an I-touch

Santa left each kid a description of their personalities....he sure knows them well

Mallory made Rick and I a little baby Jesus. It was so cute, all by herself, she cut out a baby Jesus and put him in a little box full of "hay" She had it all wrapped up for us to open Christmas morning.

Troy's new slippers
Rick and I both had Last Chance on the brain.... we both gave each other new life jackets!

Grandma and Grandpa always come over Christmas morning. After opening gifts, we sit down for a delicious breakfast. Grandma always brings funny party favors...This year we got red candy cane antlers!

Santa brought Mallory this fun piano...you can record yourself singing. She had a blast singing all day long.

Rick and I were so excited that the #1 item on Lindsie's list was a dry suit. Yeah! She will be able to stay in our family...very proud day for us:) I can't wait to see her out there this Spring.

My family came over for dinner! It was so great to see them because we missed my mom's annual Christmas eve dinner this year.

The cousins....

Best part of the whole day: my mom singing ACDC Thunder as we all rocked out!

Picture my cute little mom jamming out to ACDC. Hillarious!!!
