St. George

We decided it was time to get out of the cold weather and head to sunny St. George. It was a PERFECT weekend. We stayed with Brent, which is always a blast. At times I was unsure who were the adults and who were the children -- there was a lot of crazy fun going on! Between the nerf gun fights and water fights, the kids were pretty rallied up.

We let Lindsie and Troy each bring a friend along ... Addie and Miles came with us and we were so glad to have them. They were the perfect addition to our trip.

We brought the Rhino with us and had so much fun at the sand dunes. Brent and Melissa had their Rhino and also a four wheeler. Between all the toys, there was something for everyone! The weather was absolutely perfect, just as we had planned.

Troy and Miles found this little cove to eat their lunch in...

The kids had a blast hiking all over the red rocks.... but it ain't over until someone gets hurt right? Well, Miles decided to be the one this time. Believe it or not, it wasn't climbing up a huge rock or anything. He had just climbed all the way down from a very dangerous steep rock and was walking back toward the group. He wasn't paying attention and he tripped over a rock and this is what happened ..... OUCH!

Back to Brent's place for a little R&R..

The sand just goes on forever and ever. We were laughing so hard climbing up and then flying down the mounds of dirt. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster!

Next stop .... mountain biking! We took the kids on the Bear Claw Poppy ride. It was Miles and Addie's first mountain biking experience. All the kids rode great.

Mallory was the lucky one, she got to stay back and play with Brent and Melissa. They were so nice and offered to stay back with her so I could go see the kids ride. The minute we left, Mallory needed the bathroom. So, Melissa helped her find a place to relieve herself. Now you may not want to hear what happened next, so stop reading if you don't like potty talk. Anyway, after Mallory went to the bathroon she said to Melissa -- "wipe my ba-gina" Needless to say, they got a good laugh out of that one.

Troy is such a natural on his bike. He rode everything on this ride -- steep and rocky terrain. He was finding all kinds of jumps to get some air.

Miles did such a great job. After the ride was over, he threw down his helmet and said, "That was the funnest thing we have done so far!!!!!!!!"

We had so much fun and really did not want to come home.... we stayed until the last possible minute. At least we know there were be more fun soon in St. George. My kids keep asking when we are going back.
